As the name suggests, it is located in the north of the city, on the North Pattaya Highway and near the intersection with Sukhumvit Highway. This bus station is also known as Roong Reuang Bus Terminal and Pattaya–Bangkok Air Conditioned Bus Terminal as the main user of this concrete bus station is the Roong Reuang Coach (RRC) bus company and most bus services run to or from Bangkok, with a few exceptions .

Whether you’re going to Ekkamai or Mochit, there are several affordable and punctual options.
Phet Prasert Pattaya Bus Station
Although it is only a small terminal, the Phet Prasert bus station in Pattaya is worth mentioning. Used exclusively by the Phet Prasert bus company, this is the place to go to catch a bus from Pattaya to Koh Chang, passing through Trat town, as there are no buses going to Koh Chang itself.
The bus terminal is located on the south side of the Sukhumvit Highway, between several home goods stores, a few hundred meters south of the Chonburi Pattaya Highway. This bus station in Pattaya is no big deal; It is small and doesn’t have many amenities, with only a few rows of chairs for waiting passengers.
Burapha Minibus Service has pooled tickets to Koh Chang
Another option for traveling by bus from Pattaya to Koh Chang is the Burapha minibus. It will be a little more expensive than the large bus from Phet Prasert, but the service is more aimed at travelers who want to catch the ferry to Koh Chang, as the ticket price includes the minibus, ferry and snack. They leave twice a day, early in the morning (like the Phet Prasert buses), and tickets can be purchased at their office, in front of the Tesco mini market in Pattaya East.

One of the largest bus companies is Nakhon Chai Air. They operate multiple buses, run on various routes and have their own bus terminal in Pattaya. They focus mainly on destinations in the north and northeast of Thailand, such as Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai, and offer many routes from Bangkok as well as connections south to Rayong.
If you’re going to one of these destinations, look for the Nakhon Chai Air Pattaya Bus Terminal, which is located on the southbound Sukhumvit Highway between Soi 57 and 59. This is a larger bus terminal than the one in Phet Prasert, which offers many more places to seats while waiting for the bus, there are also windows where you can buy bus tickets, and a counter where you can buy food and drinks.
Don’t be fooled by the similarly named Nakhon Chai Khonsong Bus Terminal. It’s not the same company, but their bus terminal is across the highway from Nakhon Chai Air. We don’t know if they built it on purpose to confuse passengers, but make sure you are at the correct bus station in Pattaya before purchasing tickets. There is also a large waiting room, ticket sales desks and a food and beverage stand.
Other bus stations in Pattaya
The other bus stations in Pattaya are small and discreet. For example, the Pattana 407 bus terminal is located next to the Bangchak gas station on the Sukhumvit highway and has bus services to Nongkhai, Udon Thani and Khon Kaen.
There is also a Chan Tour bus terminal, located off the Sukhumvit Highway bypass from Pattaya Klang Road. They have a connection between Pattaya and Khon Kaen.
Pattaya bus station tickets
Tickets are usually purchased at the ticket counters at Pattaya bus terminals, although if you board the bus early in the morning, the ticket counters will not always be open. Try to go a day in advance to purchase tickets in person, or you can do so online. Larger bus companies have their own ticket information websites or save time and effort by using a centralized booking service such as 12go.
